Rogue Environmental Solutions Inc. acquired the assets and proprietary data of LIMNOS Consulting Ltd., further strengthening our expertise in lake health assessments, water quality studies, environmental monitoring, and long-term ecological research. This acquisition expands our services, enabling us to deliver high-quality environmental solutions to communities, industries, and municipalities. Additionally, the extensive environmental data archive we have acquired allows us to build on decades of research, providing more robust analysis and deeper insights for long-term LIMNOS clients.
Rogue Environmental Solutions Inc. is pleased to share that our organization has been included in the roster of expert supports for the regional assessment in Ontario’s Ring of Fire area. Our team brings applied expertise in hydroecology and water quality, cumulative-effects assessment, community-based monitoring with Indigenous and Métis partners, remote sensing, and nature-based solutions.
The Regional Assessment Working Group (RAWG) is reviewing available expertise and will engage roster members with targeted requests for proposals as needs arise during the conduct phase of the assessment. We look forward to contributing practical, science-based support and collaborating with communities and partners across the region.
Rogue Environmental Solutions Inc. is proud to announce it has been awarded EcoAction (Stream 2) funding from the Canada Water Agency (CWA) to launch Northern Waters: Enhancing Indigenous Water Security through Innovative Treatment Technologies. The two-year initiative will pilot Floating Treatment Wetlands and Biosand Drum Filters with northern Indigenous partners in Alberta, pairing nature-based solutions with community-led monitoring to improve water quality, build local capacity, and strengthen climate resilience.
“Communities have told us they want practical, low-maintenance tools they can deploy themselves,” said Michael Wendlandt, Principal at Rogue. “This support from CWA accelerates exactly that—hands-on pilots, training, and measurable results that help protect lakes and rivers while empowering Guardians and local stewards.”
